MoreThanAJob: selected projects under the call for sub-grants in
Jordan!

The international evaluation committee of the MoreThanAJob project
has officially selected the 10 project proposals that will be sub-granted in the
partner countries. The projects share the public-private cooperation and
partnership as added value for the development and delivery of
welfare services promoting the social and labour inclusion of
vulnerable people.
Following the qualitative evaluation and the interviews
carried out with the applicant organizations, the sub-granted proposals in Jordan are:

Social Solidarity Economy Values and Principles:
Education and Training submitted by Applied Scientific Research Fund
The project envisages the launch of activities aiming to raise the levels of
social and work inclusion of migrants. The activities include training and Rehabilitation of the NEETs at
Different Geographical Areas in Jordan at Different Training Themes that wood
equip the trainees with enough competencies to engage into the local business
communities

Agri-food Industry- Diary Industries submitted by Shihan Social
Cooperation Association.
This project aims to promote income and the
social solidarity of the unemployed youth, poor families and Syrian refugees who
lives in the area. The project consists of two phases; phase one to provide
training courses to the target group to be able to produce the products of the
sheep's milk. In the 2nd phase, the necessary equipment and raw material (milk)
required will be provided to the target groups. The raw material will be
purchased from the sheep owners in the area. The production process will be
supervised by the association for each family. At the end the marketing process
will be provided to the producers for the market and neighbouring areas.
In the next weeks, we

the results that they aim to achieve.

MoreThanAJob
MoreThanAJob – Reinforcing social and solidarity economy for the unemployed,
uneducated and refugees is a project funded by the European
Union under ENI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Programme. The project aims at
enhancing the development of cooperation mechanisms between the Social and
Solidarity Economy (SSE) actors and the public administration to improve the
social services for vulnerable groups in order to increase their opportunities
